An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Management Co-ordinator to play a key role in developing our work. You will also be responsible for supporting the existing church-based and Zoom groups, speaking at celebrations, church services and meetings. As such, you will be fully committed to our Christian beliefs and help us deliver a distinctly Christian service which will include praying for, and with, volunteers and our community. Therefore, under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, these roles have an occupational requirement to be a Christian.

We wanted to update you about upcoming training sessions with Prospects Across Scotland. We work with churches to encourage, inspire and resources them welcome people with learning disabilities and autism, so that they can know Jesus and be valued members of local congregations.
Both sessions are online and open to everyone in Scottish churches – from leaders to volunteers. Please feel free to share as widely as possible. It’s essential that anyone interested books a ticket, but if cost is a barrier to anyone, please email Hilary at hilary.lacroix@
On Monday May 19th 7-9pm we are running ‘Communities of Belonging – Worship for All’, tickets cost £10.
For further details please see our Events section.
Autism in the Church Family will be running again on Monday May 26th 7-9pm, tickets cost £15.
For further details please see our Events section.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. We are also most happy to come and offer training in-person to your church or group or to give a talk about the work of Prospects Across Scotland. We can also offer Zoom training just to a group in your church should that be more appropriate, as well as bespoke sessions, perhaps for Continuing Professional Development, or to consider specific situations. We are very much here to be of service to the local church.
Our northern groups received some funding to hold a special day ‘to make memories’. On Saturday 5th April, more than 60 people came together in Inverness, including Prospects Dingwall and Inverness as well as four of our friends from the Buckie Lighthouse and Footprints groups.
It was definitely a memorable day for all of us, and we are so grateful to ‘Jennifer’s Fund’ for making it possible. See below some pictures showing what a wonderful day was had by all.
We have produced an Easy Read Booklet to support people with learning disabilities at times of bereavement.
We are grateful to the ‘Sir Halley Stewart Trust’ for funding this much needed project.
The booklet can be downloaded here or if you would like a copy of this booklet or further information, please contact
